How do I become a Member?
Becoming a member is super easy! Simply email us at info@firelandsaero.com with a completed application and a Board member will reach out with the next steps!
Available Memberships:
Regular Membership:
- Has initiation fee (See below)
- Can rent Club planes
- Has access to Club events and Activities/Facilities
- Can run for a Board position
Great for pilots, or those who are looking to get their certificate!
Associate Membership:
- Does Not have initiation fee
- Cannot rent Club planes
- Has access to Club events and Activities/Facilities
- Can run for a Board Position
Great for those who are interested in aviation, but maybe not ready to take lessons. Also good for pilots who have their own airplane but still want to participate!
One Time Initiation Fee:
Our initiation for our regular membership is very fairly priced compared to other Flying Clubs at just $350!
Monthly Membership Dues:
Regular Membership: $80 per month
Associate Membership: $20 per month
*We also offer a Membership Due discount of one month free if you pay for a full year in advanced!
What does this money give me?
The One Time Initiation Fee gets you into the best Flying Club along Ohio's northern coast! The Monthly Membership Dues cover the cost of the Aircraft Hangar, Insurance, and also covers the Clubs monthly operating costs.
Are there any other costs associated with being in the Club?
Yes, in addition to the One Time Initiation Fee and Monthly Membership Dues, each aircraft will have it's own rental rate as well as the cost of any fuel used. Details on our Fleet rental rates can be viewed by clicking the link below!
